FAQ
We've put together a list of frequently asked questions to help you better understand what a safari to Botswana is all about and to help you better prepare for your vacation.
All Desert & Delta Safaris lodges comply with the strictest health and safety protocols to ensure the safety of all guests and staff.
COVID-19 TESTING:
What happens if you show symptoms for COVID–19 at a Desert & Delta Safaris property? As it is not a requirement to take a COVID-19 PCR test, guests who wish to be tested will be assisted in arranging this, at their own expense.
In camp tests can be arranged as well as tests in Maun or Kasane. The costs of the tests will depend on where the test is conducted and which test is done. Pricing is available on request.
If guests test positive in camp, we will assist in arranging transport to alternative accommodation in Maun or Kasane, at their own expense.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE (BOTSWANA & NAMIBIA):
Entry and exit requirements related to COVID-19 have been removed. We encourage all guests to ensure that they have all the standard entry requirements, for example: relevant Visas if applicable, documentation related to travelling with children etc.
All public protocols/restrictions related to COVID-19 have been lifted (wearing of masks, social distancing and isolation requirements). In line with this, all staff in the camps will revert to normal operational but continue to prioritise the health and safety of our travellers ad fellow staff members.
