PCR testing can be done in Maun, Kasane, Gaborone or in the lodge. Below are the testing options available to you. For detailed information and costing on your in-lodge testing please speak to your journey specialist.

  • Add an additional night in Maun and do your COVID-19 testing in Maun the day before your departure. This is done at a private clinic at a rate of approximately $100.00 per person. We recommend an overnight stay at the Sedia Hotel for your stay in Maun. All arrangements in Maun can be managed by Desert & Delta Safaris.
  • End your safari at the our luxurious Chobe Game Lodge on the banks of the Chobe River and test the day before your departure at a private clinic in Kasane. The test price is approximately $115.00 per person and includes all transport to and from Chobe Game Lodge.
  • For no impact on your safari you can book in-camp testing and do your COVID-19 test at your last camp the day before your departure from Botswana. A nurse from one of the private clinics in Maun/Kasane will fly into the camp to do the necessary test. Your results will be available prior to your departure from the camp. Pricing for this option is available on request.
