Inspired by you, for you:

We Reimagined Luxury Safaris with Savute Safari Lodge, Opening in June 2024

With your comfort in mind and blending in with the gorgeous surrounds of this wild wonderland we started the rebuild of Savute Safari Lodge. For over 25 years, this lodge has been an inspiration for those seeking unforgettable safari adventures within the Desert & Delta Safaris circuit. The new design promises to honor this legacy while raising the bar for luxury safari standards.

Each guest room, with its breathtaking views of the Savute Channel, combines natural thatching and canvas, providing both a stunning look and excellent insulation. Private outdoor showers, a first for Desert & Delta Safaris, allow guests to experience starlit showers or cool off after a thrilling morning safari. The main area, designed for optimal views over a dramatic waterhole, provides an unimaginable wildlife experience as you enjoy a meal on the deck. With its blend of traditional safari lodge elements and contemporary aesthetics, Savute Safari Lodge is poised to redefine luxury in the heart of Botswana.

We Took to the Sky Over the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans from Leroo Lat Tau with a new Experience:

In the heart of Botswana’s wilderness, Desert and Delta Safaris present a unique experience at Leroo La Tau. The sleep-out on the Makgadikgadi salt pans offers stripped-back luxury, welcoming guests to a cozy haven under the vast desert night sky. From a romantic evening nestled under starlight to a delectable bush menu prepared around an open fire, this experience transcends the ordinary.

The Makgadikgadi helicopter adventure unveils the iconic Kubu Island, with its Gondwanaland Rocks, baobab trees, and ancient remains. Witness the incredible zebra and flamingo migrations from the air, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Whether you’re grasped by the starry skies or witnessing wildlife migrations, this is an adventure that challenges your imagination and etches unforgettable memories in your heart.

Leroo La Tau found its Fresh New Hue:

Leroo La Tau, perched on the boundary of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, underwent a transformative refurbishment in 2023. Inspired by the zebra migration and the desert landscapes, the lodge now features warm hues of rust and earthy browns blending seamlessly with cool blues and greens. The distinctive contrasts between the desert landscape and the serene ambiance make Leroo La Tau a true masterpiece of modern rustic safari design.
