Savute Marsh in the Green SeasonThe Savute region of the Chobe National Park is one of Botswana's best game viewing destinations, offering exceptional year-round game viewing. In the green season, massive herds of zebra migrate through the Savute Marsh along with other large groups of mammals in search of the rich grasses. This open marsh area makes for easier predator sightings along with the increase in prey available. The Northern and Marsh lion prides which dominate the region remain to offer excellent predator encounters. As the rains bring fresh growth and water into the Savute Marsh large flocks of the vibrant Carmine bee-eaters migrate through the area to pick up insects. They are known to follow vehicles to prey on insects as they flick up providing beautiful photograph opportunities or just marvel at the amazing birdlife.

Authentic Green Season Moremi Game ReserveSet within the Okavango Delta, the Moremi Game Reserve has been a top pick destination for wildlife enthusiasts for decades. The area offers a mixture of land and water-based safaris in some of the most diverse ecosystems in Botswana. In the green season, the already diverse Moremi region bursts into life. Some of the most scenic places like Paradise Pools and Dead Tree Island are the backdrops to the most surreal and beautiful landscapes imaginable as the summer colours become more vivid and the sun provides a richer light compared to the dry season. Impala drop their young and waterbirds are abundant throughout these seasonal pans of rainwater. Unique predator sightings including healthy populations of African wild dogs and leopards who prey on the many young antelope, while boat cruises take you through the permanent water meandering channels of the Okavango Delta and into vast lagoons in search of aquatic animals and birds.
